Meet Dr Stepaniuk
Dr. Stepaniuk worked to teach children with Down’s Syndrome and Autism in the 1990s, pioneering research in disability rights social change. His groundbreaking psychological experiments were approved by the University of Toronto’s Internal Review Board, significantly impacting educational approaches. His work focused on identifying innovative teaching methods, fostering inclusion, and advocating for systemic change. The insights he gained helped shift traditional perceptions of education and disability, influencing both academic and public policies.
